I don't know who needs to hear this, but one of the most important steps of getting out of burnout and starting to recover is simply saying it out loud. "I'm in burnout." Say it to yourself. To your friends. Then it's not as scary. Now, take a deep breath.

Exactly! Working a dayjob is awesome for me. I’m proud of my career, I get to travel. and the stability is amazing for my family (given my twice exceptional and neurodivergent kid). But it took me a long time to see the full picture. For now, this works best.
