The Museum’s Gutenberg printing press replica was made for The Tudors TV series, and donated to the Museum once filming was completed. Today, we had one of the actors who operated the press onscreen in for a tour - thanks Peter for dropping by!

Strange Types and Odd Sorts is a collection of stories by retired compositors, printers and finishers recounting their colourful lives in the print industry. The second edition is now available in the Museum shop.
