If I keep improving at the rate I’m going, I should be out of ICU soon (week or 2) I will still have a lot of healing to do , but,, fingers crossed 🤞😎👍

My health has improved enough now, I am finally being Discharged from hospital today. I will be out of here in an hour.

Hello everyone. I just got out of detox & now headed off to rehab for 12 weeks. I’m heading to a place at Dooralong. It’s on a property in the middle of the wilderness our as we Aussies say, our in the bush.

Health Update.
I’m still in ICU . My body is failing. Internal bleeding, infected right lung, enlarged liver and more. I’ve been eating though tubes and injections. Not sure how much longer they will keep me in ICU , but I won’t be getting out anytime soon.

Health update.
Seems as though my heart is now having issues too. Not getting enough oxygen into to blood, so The doctors just put in a Central vascular arterial line in my neck near my heart to help monitor this more closely & to help administer drugs quicker.

Just confirmed , I will book into alcohol detox Monday morning the 22nd at 9 am. After detox will head straight to rehab for 4 months.

This world is fucked. Many know that I’m homeless and living in a tent . Just saw a woman setting up her tent today. I asked her, did she need help. She said no. Do you have food, she said no.
So I went and bought her food and drinks and we talked for an hour.

Just when I thought it couldn’t get worse, it looks like my right lung f full of pneumonia & has started to collapse. They have put me on to a forced feeding oxygen device which feels like a torture device.

Whilst here in rehab we have group meetings 3 times a day, Monday to Thursday & 2 on Friday. Today at group meeting (fri) I decided it was time for me to stand up and share my story with them.
It felt like a weight lifted off of my shoulders.

At rehab I’m currently staying in the main building called the Lodge, just so they can see how you settle in, but Within less than a week I will be moved into a 2 bedroom cabin like this for the rest of my 11 week stay here.

Many on here know that I was in hospital for 5 weeks. 3 of them were in intensive care unit/ ICU. I haven’t told you that I needed 5 blood transfusions in first 36 hours. I still am not sure whether I’ve had compromised my blood.

I still haven’t left hospital yet. They tested me for convid yesterday, waiting for the results to get back. Also, I’m booked into a CT Scan on my chest today, my blood oxygen level is low still, so they are checking to make sure that I don’t have a blood clot in my lung.

Some good news.
The results from scan 4 possible blood clot came back. No blood clot.
But,my blood oxygen levels dropped really low last night. The specialist were called in, threw me straight back on oxygen again. It seems like a never ending cycle I’m going through🤬

The rehab that I’m at is pretty good. Today Went for a bus trip to the mall. They drop us off , let us go shopping, They don’t chaperone us. They give us freedom to do what we want, buy what we want, then pick us ip 2hrs later.
It’s more like being in camp than a rehab.

Just got a call from detox asking me to confirm time of arrival. They have me linked for 5 to 7 days then rehab unit will pick me up when I’m ready and take me away for 3 to 4 months.
I should write a book about this experience.

I Just met and had my first meeting with a new Drug & Alcohol Abuse Counsellor today.
It worked out well.
They gave me hope and help.
Now,
I just have another appointment 2day. Hopefully it goes the same way👍

GN all. I’m having an early night. I had a big day, Dr appointment. Just a check up. He took 2 meds that I take off prescription list I was happy about that, but then he added 2 new med 😂 .
But all is good. Im putting on weight, I’m eating healthier, feeling better 😎👍

I had an alcohol withdrawal seizure 7 weeks ago. I woke up on the tiled floor with a broken arm , bruised and battered body and was rushed to hospital. Since then I’ve been to alcohol detox & am currently 2 and a half weeks into a 3 month rehabilitation program.
