They were taken separately for brutal interrogations, in which the terrorists demanded information from them while severely abusing them. The terrorists strangled them, tied them, tied their mouths with cloth to the point of suffocation, hung them by their legs and burned them with a hot object. They said that they were deliberately starved, and for long days they did not receive any food at all. Every few days they would receive rotten pita bread, which they were forced to share with other hostages who were with them., they went for long days without drinking, because they were not given water.
