A big loss for the Minnesota hockey community today with the passing of Doug Woog. He will be missed. Say a prayer for he and his family.
Really sad to hear about the passing of Doug Woog. Loved every minute working together. Proud to call him a friend. He was one of a kind. We lost a great one tonight. My prayers are with his family.

We lost a wonderful guy today. He was a terrific hockey player and a great teammate. What a sense of humor he had. He will be missed.
Our hearts are with the family and loved ones of Gophers alum Thomas 'Jake' McCoy, who passed away today. A member of the 1964 U.S. Olympic Team, McCoy was inducted into the Minnesota Hockey Coaches Hall of Fame in 2008 and honored with the Cliff Thompson Award in 2013.

John Mariucci - former Chicago Black Hawk captain and the Godfather of Minnesota Hockey (also Godfather of American Hockey). Mariucci would put on emphasis on recruiting Minnesota kids (to attend the Univ of Minnesota) and his impact on US Hockey is immeasurable. 🇺🇸
