I am starting the New Year a little early. Going back to when I was a lot younger (38) and including a Shield Maiden Pic of me made with the help of Grok. It was fun to do. Oh to be young again! But my thoughts haven't changed much. So Here I am!

Our government has been a mess for a very long time! It took social media & the sharing of information to wake people up! Now that we are awake, the government is being forced to answer to the people in a way they never have. I say let Elon do the job & let the chips fall where ever they may.

LOL. He is certainly not stealing it. He is following the money! To see if it is going to where it was intended to go. To identify when it isn't and to shut the door on those places it shouldn't be going to. Once identified, the President, Congress, or the Supreme Court or all three will determine if what Musk found is legal or an abuse of the sysyem. All the rest of the story is political & news outlets playing at the Game of Thrones!

It's called rationalization! Doing things for what they think is the greater good. But in a democratic republic, the idea is to back the elected president. The majority of voters voted for change. I'd the people don't like the changes they will vote for something different in the next elections.

@projects01 @JDVanceNewsX Think you are saying the same thing I was saying. We have 2 senators per state. The people in those states elect them. So they should vote the way the people of their state want them to vote, or it is not a reflection of who they are there to represent!

I do not think X users have no voice, or I wouldn't post here. But as it is meant to be, I want our reps to vote as the people who elected them want them to vote. I want my state reps to vote as the people in my state want them to. That is the whole idea behind having state senators, isn't it?

@elonmusk The money came from The Biden Admistration through DHS. The owners of The Roosevelt Hotel in NYS was Pakistan International Airlines, so not even going to American companies!

You are welcome. This is something that touches me every day. I go to a few appointments with him. He does get his vision & dental care & his hearing aids. They do the best they can. But there is more need than they can handle. Appointments take 6 months to get. Add all vets & the system would crash. If you are a vet using the system, you know!

@SawyerMerritt I hope it helps their service. We used them for a few years. I had service in our living room but not in our bedroom. No connection in lots of places across Kansas. No service in MD at my parents' home. We switched to another service that cost more but had service everywhere

What I voted for was to say I hated the way Democrats hand picked a candidate to run for president without an open primary. Also to close the doors on immigration because the democrats were giving benefits that my granddaughter in law who came here legally cannot legally get any of those benefits. And equally to cut government waste & fraud, to include using our taxes to promote a political agenda and get spending under control. Including forcing our legislature to define where the money goes in the law, not giving that power to unelected bureaucrats the chance to decide how & where to send it!! If Musk can find the waste & fraud I support him. But I want more! Pass a balanced budget act again! Then pass a law as to the size & scope of bills! Then a law that requires congress to define what, how much & where the money can & can't go! Nobody else gets to determine those things!!!
