Firefighters pushed the trucks into service. This tradition has been carried over from when Fire apparatuses were pulled by horses.
Our deepest condolences go out to the dedicated Firefighters at BC Wildfire Service as they deal with the absolutely tragic loss of Firefighter Devyn Gale. Our flag is at ½ mast in her honour.

Our Firefighters taped a blanket onto 150’ of fire hose and inserted the hose into the pipe system. The end was pushed past the pup and then the hose was partially filled with water, which gave the pup something to hang into. The hose was then slowly pulled from the pipe.
