Did you know that Nagoya University has a botanical garden? It's right next to the Mei-dining cafeteria and anyone can visit between 10am-4pm, Tuesday to Saturday. Right now the two huge trellises of wisteria are in full bloom and looking lovely.

Local elementary school students visited the Nagoya University Farm at the weekend to try rice planting and meet our animals! The Nagoya University Farm is part of the Graduate School of Bioagricultural Sciences, where researchers work on solving the world's food supply issues.

RIP Fumihiko Maki, renowned modernist architect and designer of the Nagoya University Toyoda Auditorium, who has passed away at 95. Built in 1960 with a grant from Toyota, the Auditorium has become the symbol of our university, and remains a vibrant reminder of Maki's legacy.
