Bangladeshis did it again. The new era of Freedom Fighters fought for our country’s freedom from an authoritarian ruler and WON. History has been made. The soul of our country is stronger than ever.
As limited internet starts to become available for a small number of citizens in Bangladesh, heinous videos of military brutality are surfacing and it is clear that autocratic PM Sheikh Hasina has no regard for human life if it opposes her corrupt and criminal agenda.
The thing about the Bangladeshi government is they were never ready for this generation of free thinkers and revolutionaries. The days of maintaining the status quo are over.
This new era of freedom fighters are here to ignite systemic change.
And we must stand with them.
This mentality of beating into submission and urging fear over mutual respect is so ingrained in our elders.
It ends in our homes, and it ends in our government. You will not force your will onto the Bangladeshi youth.
Time to listen, engage & reform.

JUST IN — The Bangladesh government could stamp out the civil unrest in “no more than half an hour” if it unleashed the full force of its might, said Mohammad A. Arafat, an information minister, at a press conference broadcast on 21 July.
CONTEXT:
The Supreme Court has overruled the reinstatement of the quota system in Bangladesh.
But this issue ignited a deeper problem within our nation & the loss + pain the country has felt in these last few weeks is irreparable. Justice must be served.
