Join your 79th Pct Neighborhood Coordination Officers for Sector Boy at their quarterly Build the Block meeting. It will be held at the PAL Wynn Center located at 495 Gates Avenue at 6 pm. This is a great opportunity to hear from your NCOs, ask questions and raise any concerns.

Sidewalks are NOT parking lots for mopeds‼️. Furthermore, these vehicles should be:. ✅ Properly registered with the DMV.✅ Inspected and insured.✅ Operated with a license plate . … and parked legally - on the street in a legal parking space. 🛵

Double parking can cause traffic to build up, prevent emergency vehicles from responding to calls for help, and obstruct the view of pedestrians crossing the street. It is illegal, inconsiderate, and unsafe. Just don’t do it!. 🚘🚖 Double park and pay the fine!💰

Following numerous community complaints about derelict and illegally parked vehicles with various violations (unregistered, uninsured, etc.), your NCOs conducted a tow operation successfully removing some vehicles and ticketing others.

🚲 Bike lanes and cars do not mix! 🚫 Motorists can be subject to receiving a moving or parking summons when driving/parking in designated bike lanes. Safety on the roadway is a shared responsibility and failure to adhere to NYC Traffic Rules and Regs can be costly and dangerous!

Our very own Officer Mounafis displayed a great degree of bravery and selflessness when he responded to an individual in crisis observed sitting over the third rail in a subway station. Without hesitation, he jumped in and rescued him with the help of good Samaritans. Great job!.

After informing the @Det_Ramosfndn that a local family shelter was burglarized today and over 70 toys were stolen, they were gracious enough to donate some extra toys to the shelter without hesitation restoring the holiday spirit. This is what community and service is all about!
