It’s the final week of our annual Pasta Bowl! We’re looking for: 🥫Dry (not fresh) pasta (whole wheat preferred) 🥫Canned or boxed tomato products: tomato sauce, diced or crushed tomatoes, whole peeled tomatoes, & tomato paste. No glass bottles, please!

Check out this delicious dish! NYCPs chef steamed chicken then stewed it with sundried tomatoes and onions in a light gravy. Our Hot Meals Program provides is every Monday – Friday from 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM at our East Harlem location. Everyone is welcome. #foodpantry

Start your day off with this delicious and simple sheet pan breakfast! Sheet pan recipes are great because the clean up is easy and you can modify them to your liking. For this recipe, add any of your favorite chopped vegetables for extra nutrients.

We served meals from Braddah's: Hawaiian BBQ for Hot Meals! There was BBQ chicken with white rice and coleslaw and crispy garlic tofu with white rice & lemon kale salad. Thanks to our New York Food for New York Families partner @ClubFeast for providing the meals. #foodpantry

Students from Trevor Day spent a Saturday volunteering at New York Common Pantry. They learned about New York Common Pantry’s Choice Pantry program and helped pack and distribute the Pantry bags with nutritious food for local community members! Thank you.

Troop 777 put a fresh coat of paint to NYCP’s entryway and waiting area at our East Harlem location. They raised funds for new barber chairs and barber supplies for our Project Dignity program. Thank you! Shout out to Will for organizing this fundraiser for your Eagle Project!

We concluded 2024 with our annual Toy Distribution, where we gave out over 1,100 gift cards and stocking stuffers. Additionally, we were able to serve 447 hot meals and distribute 300 coats during our holiday luncheon. How You Can Still Help: Donate:
