734am Update....An enhanced area of snow will cross Gray, Ford, Hodgeman, Edwards and Kiowa counties through 9 am. This band of snow will be capable of producing snowfall rates up 1/2inch an hour through 9 am. #kswx

Light snow has developed mainly along and west of highway 83 as of 9 pm. Snow will continue to expand eastward through western Kansas after midnight with snow accumulating through mid Wednesday morning. #kswx

Light to moderate snow is expected Wednesday morning. With very cold air, the snow will be light and fluffy, and with cold roadways, roads will quickly become snow covered. Winds will remain near 20 mph, keeping blowing and drifting limited.
