@DocDoLi I’m a consultant in Taunton and we take students from Plymouth. Students are well prepared, have clear aims when they come and we are funded to teach and take ownership of them. They seem to have a good experience and give good feedback. I’m surprised at their ranking.

The legal obligation to comply with freedom of information act requests from industry fishing for data and not being bothered to pay/fund that research is disgraceful and an absolute waste of NHS time! How do people manage these?

Was there ever any follow-up of the higher risk patients diagnosed on screening in the ProtecT trial? Shouldn’t these patients be adding to the argument of ‘screening’ of patients for prostate cancer?

@PlantChompers @BBCNews @JanetCade @DoctorChrisVT I’m definitely an advocate of not letting perfect be the enemy of good, but I don’t think the use of language here is appropriate - ‘not actually a problem’ and ‘we should stop worrying about …’ in the context of ultra-processed

@PMccoubrie Looks just like a median lobe (seen a few wonky ones before), but it just doesn’t really look like it’s connected to the base of the prostate. Would be an unusual bladder tumour, so I’ll stick with prostate.

I’m not sure I want to strike, but this is with little thought. I’m fortunate to have the things described in this post, but am not worth 30% less than colleagues 10 years ago. My ‘team’ have voted and we have to act as a body. I must respect colleagues and future colleagues…

What a pile of twisted hot garbage by a newspaper twisted and woven into the fabric of the Conservative Party…. and not even a mention of consultant industrial action on the @BBCNews
