What an honour it is to perform my duties as a simultaneous interpreter for foreign students during the graduation rehearsal! I normally don’t get to share interpreting scenes due to NDAs, but here it is. We have over 12,000 graduands this year from Thammasat University.

EG345 ICC is the first course after returning to Thammasat. We immensely enjoyed it. Ended with the reflection, ‘We are the living case studies of the wrongs we have committed, are committing, and will commit interculturally. We learn from them to make all the rights.’ 🎉👨🏫🧐

Giving a lecture on ICC in interpreting at the Translators and Interpreters Association of Thailand. The lesson was based on my PhD findings, complemented by a short clip of Scotland’s very best Billy Connolly for the students to interpret into Thai 🏴🇹🇭😀
