In addition to the shelters below, another shelter will be opening in HRM in response to the extreme weather. Operated by 902 Man Up, the Saint Mary's Boat Club (1641 Fairfield Rd.) will open on Tues, Jan 21 at 6:30 pm to Sunday, Jan 26. Call 902-429-3984 for bed availability.

A new tiny home community in Lower Sackville welcomed its first residents in November 2024. The community provides supportive housing for up to 70 people, with fully furnished units and wraparound services. @UWHalifax @ShawLiving
