First graders celebrated all they have learned about the Arctic and Antarctic with a special day centered around the polar regions and the animals who live there! Students rotated through interactive stations, where they learned more about whales, penguins and polar bears.

Throughout February, students in all divisions will be learning more about the contributions and achievements of Black Americans throughout history. This week, kindergarteners at our Harbour View Campus studied the life and legacy of Dr. Daniel Hale Williams. #nsasaints

Eighth grade science students conducted a lab experiment that gave them a first-hand look at chemical reactions. Students tested and observed what happens when you add heat to a magnesium strip, and what happens when you combine magnesium with hydrochloric acid. #nsasaints
