Following the loss of
@NonLgeProgs
I felt we needed a replacement. Please share as much as you can to get the name out there and of course post your pictures
Sadly Chris has decided to stop running
@nonlgeprogs
going forward, so I have decided to setup this account as a replacement. So please share your images, finds and collections and keep the printed programme alive
A quick thankyou to all those that have tagged us in programme covers this weekend, good to see a busy timeline of covers, keeping the printed programme alive up and down the Country

A bumper weekend of
@NLprogs
this week, thanks to all those that tagged and shared their images, great to see so many clubs sticking with the printed programme
Programme Image Gallery - Having run this new group for 4 months now, I've just realised I've not shared the Programme Image Gallery of our main site, which has cover scans of over 28,000 programmes. Well here it is enjoy !
Is a printed programme still a routine part of your matchday? Do you still prefer paper on online? Do you boycott clubs who don’t do a printed programme? Let us know your opinions!
@TonyIncenzo
@NonLeaguePaper
@nlprogs
Can't fault this approach, whilst people complain of 'magazine style programmes' this is a perfect compromise and keeps the paperwork tradition alive (and they are easy to store)
No
@NLProgs
as such but a free souvenir card, with the squads listed, was handed out as you entered the ground. A return to the very, very early days of programmes?
@nlprogs
I know not all non league.When you have to empty your programme chest to move it. Oldest England v Holland Wembley 1982. Loads of memories. Forgotten I’d been to some games!!That’s why we need programmes at matches
@NonLeagueCrowd
@NonLgeProgs
Sadly Chris has decided to stop running
@nonlgeprogs
going forward, so I have decided to setup this account as a replacement. So please share your images, finds and collections and keep the printed programme alive
@nlprogs
Please retweet as much as possible to get the site seen
If you are at a game today or at any point over the Christmas period, if there is a printed programme, make sure you buy one and post a cover shot and tag
@nlprogs

@nlprogs
#nonleagueday
We really want to see your paperwork and so do others, keep the printed programme alive
FA Cup weekend for some and league games for others, if you are attending a match, make sure you purchase a copy of the printed programme, furthermore make sure you take a picture and tag us in it

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐒 - part of the matchday experience. In this digital age its easy to see why QR codes challenge old skool paper copies.
But all around
@nwcfl
and beyond unseen volunteers are crafting fine efforts for fans to flick thru, 👏 to all keeping the tradition alive.
@aspulliter
This account was setup purely to continue the great work Chris started, this account wouldn't exist if
@nonlgeprogs
was still live and I echo his thoughts on the matchday experience and a printed programme is a huge part of that and long may it continue
WORLD BOOK DAY (2) Next up is a Non-League section of my library, spread out over several shelves and in need of a proper consolidation sort and the addition of more purchases still yet to be put away

As you know, it's not just nlprogs we love here, we are also partial to abit of history as well. All these clubs have fallen into non-league football, but a bit of history from their Football League days doesn't go a miss. Check out the new book catalogue

@aspulliter
Would love it if every programme from the first day of the season contained the previous seasons result grid (more so for
@nlprogs
) would be a great help for our main site
NEW ARRIVAL - A Christmas present to myself, thanks to
@bramsay11
for highlighting this one as I didn't know about it until Christmas Day. From Wartime to the NPL - A History of
@Buxton_FC
1939-1973 by Tony Tomlinson. 1Onl;y had a quick look (as it's just arrived), but great book
If you haven't viewed the gallery already, take a look, as it has many 1000's of non-league programmes amongst the 30k already on the site, with new images being added daily
MILESTONE - Another milestone has been reached for the site, with the 40,000 image having been uploaded to the site this week. Around 75% are programme covers and 24% are player headshots with the remaining images forming part of the book library, action shots and stadium pics.

Personally I like programmes that have the following:
Match details viewable on cover (ideal if you stick with the same cover design all season)
Fixtures and results page, including previous line-ups
Visiting team pen pics
Player profile of 1 of your own

article
Plenty of FA Cup covers tagged over the last couple of days, why not take a minute to browse our timeline to see some great covers and post your own if you haven't already
NEW ARRIVALS - Santa has popped in early with a delivery of 2 copies of the Non-league directory from 2021/22 and 2022/23 for the library

v Ville in the Russell-Cotes Cup. Alton were top of Hants Lge 1 and in the last 32 of the FA Amateur Cup. Ville were near the foot of Hants Lge 2. Home side won 8-1, partly due to Peter Faulkner slipping in the mud, it would appear.
@NonLgeProgs
@nlprogs
South East counties premier division Bearsted v Kennington not proper programme as printers let them down so they gave me a previous game to make into today's programme 👍
My first visit to
@LeicNirvana
tonight to see them take on
@cogenhoeunited
. A spirited display by the home team should have yielded all 3 points but a missed penalty meant a 0-0 draw in the end. Nice friendly set up and a printed programme 🙂

@EmmaSanter
The video played through at least 3 times before it clicked that you was referring to the child and that the dog doesn't play for a team !!
👋
@nlprogs

@nlprogs
and keep the printed programme alive
The month of March was wiped out by FA Amateur Cup fixtures as they progressed to the Semi-final. Plus other cup games, they didn't play a league fixture between 04/01 -> 30/04 !!
@nickhancock741
@RoyalMailHelp
They are next years cards that have arrived REALLY early, not sure what problem you have with the overpriced useless postal service that keeps on increasing price and lowering service standards
The fantastic A review of non-league football in Herts series, great coverage of non-league football in the area, very comprehensive. Anything similiar out there ?
NEW ARRIVALS - Couple of new additions to the library this week, catalogued and added to the shelves. Definitive
@WestHam
to add to the series. Also another edition of the A review of non-league football in Herts 1990-91 (making 9 in total now)
