Growing old disgracefully. Music. Cars. Dogs. Art. All these things are cool. Kindness costs nothing.

Words do not do justice to how much I'm looking forward to this tour, to the point I will tolerate the shithole that's Festival Hall to see The Only Band Ever.
We’re gearing up for our Australian Tour next month - until then, here’s a gift to tide you over ❤️🔥 "This Could Be Anywhere in the World (LIVE in Melbourne, Australia 2023)" available wherever you find music

5 of the 6 people in this match are worth watching, but alas Chris Jericho being Chris Jericho in 2025 cancels out a lot of the enjoyment.
AEW ROH Global Wars Australia LIVE! Sat Feb 15th | Brisbane Entertainment Centre After being blindsided on Dynamite, @bandidowrestler teams with Outrunners @TruthMagnum + @turbofloyd_ to face ROH World Champion @IAmJericho, @TheCaZXL + @bountykeith 🎟️

This is a perfect summation of why Terry Funk is the GOAT.
@allan_cheapshot For me, it’s because Terry was so willing to fearlessly sell. Everyone else was so focused on showing how tough they were and protecting their credibility and Funk just gave and gave and gave (but never stopped fighting). They won exchanges. Funk won hearts.

Terry Funk is forever the GOAT.
Terry Funk was insanely over in Japan, more than you can probably appreciate. He was the most popular gaijin of all time, and that covers a lot of people and ground. It's not an understatement to say Terry was totally beloved at a level we will never see again in Pro Wrestling.

@mikey__jay Was hoping to make this, as this show is a much bigger draw than AEW for me, but alas adulting takes responsibility, wishing you and the Melbourne crew all the best.

To the day I die, I will always say that watching this music video as a kid literally changed my life. This is the point where I go from liking music a bit to being obsessed with it. This is perfect, uncompromising art.
Metallica’s video for ‘One’ was such a game changer as far as metal music video maturity & for Metallica itself, being their first music vid. Incorporating scenes from the movie ‘Johnny Got His Gun’, the lyrics are based on the book of the same name, it hits hard. Full & unedited

@CWRandomMusings @TheStingisBack Partially because a lot of the people who say it couldn't be made today don't realise they're the target of the satire, but also because that cast could never be replaced 50 years on.

"Nowhere special, I always wanted to go there" My all time fave movie line. That final shot with the sun setting in the background is just perfect. To think that Gene Wilder did this and Young Frankenstein, two of the legit best comedies of all time, in the same year.
Blazing Saddles is 51 years old today. The movie mirrors Sherriff Bart in it's ability to win over a hostile crowd by completely disarming them. It's still as funny as it was in 1974, and just a few months after this Young Frankenstein was released. Mel Brooks is a genius. 17/17

RT @TheStingisBack: Blazing Saddles is 51 years old today. 'It's TWUE! It's TWUE.' Mel Brooks didn't cut much, but there was one joke even…

She was so magnificently brilliant.
Blazing Saddles is 51 years old today. 'Everything below the waist is kaput.' Madeline Kahn's Lili Von Shtupp is one of the greatest comedy performances of all time, on many levels. Brooks said ''I'm Tired" was the 'dirtiest song I ever wrote in my life.' 9/17

This always kills me, one of the best random jokes in any movie ever.
Blazing Saddles is 51 years old today. 'Can we have some more beans, Mr Taggart?' The campfire scene features the first audible farts in a motion picture history. Mel Brooks cut 4 farts out because laughter would diminish around 12 guffs. Brooks' science of fart laughter. 7/17
