I'm seeing lot of headlines that Mahmoud Abbas has revoked the Pay-for-Slay terror payments. You can put that 🍾 back on ice! Just as leopards don’t change their spots, nor does the PA. All they doing, is essentially rebranding the Pay-for-Slay payments under a different department and oversight mechanism run by Abbas himself. Nowhere in the decree does it state that the PA will no longer pay, reward or incentivize terror attacks against Israel. This is nothing but a transparent attempt by the PA to circumvent the Taylor Force Act and avoid the looming financial trouble, including damages that may arise out of pending lawsuits, such as the one we filed to the Supreme Court last week, to hold the PA liable to American victims of terror, for damages arising out of terror attacks under the Pay-for-Slay program. President Trump and the U.S. should see right through this blatant ploy by the PA, and continue demanding that they unequivocally revoke payments of any kind to Palestinian terrorists, and that until such time, the Taylor Force Act will remain in place and the PA will not receive a single dollar!
