Holiday Tour success!!! The Straus MS Band, Choir, and Orchestra visited Reed, Henderson, and Kallison Elementary Schools this past week and brought some festive holiday cheer to their students. We are excited to see our future Mavericks join us very soon next year! 💙🐴🖤

Musicians from the @NISDStraus MS Band competed the last two days at the Region 29 Middle School Band Auditions held at Pease MS. The band had 18 students earn a spot and 6 make an alternate spot. We congratulate them on their hard work! 💙🐴🖤

We encourage our future Hawks & Wildcats to see our High School Bands in action on Saturday, October 19 @ Farris Stadium! Sotomayor HS will perform their show “Master of Puppets” at 6:30pm and Harlan HS will perform their show “Steam City” at 7:15pm. Admission is FREE. 🖤🐴🐈⬛🪶💙
