Not so long ago Spurs arguably had 8 world class players in their team (Kane, Son, Dele, Eriksen, Dembele, Walker, Vertonghen, Alderweireld) Now we just have Romero (if that). Postecoglou is not the reason this team isn’t successful. The squad full of midtable players is.

I want Ange to be given at least another 18 months, not least because we look incredible in patches. I also think our squad is poor and don’t see anyone else doing any better. But we have to find a way to minimise these awful results because 10/50 stinkers is poor.

Just 3.5 years ago the Tottenham forward line was Son (17 goals), Kane (23 goals) and Bale (11 goals) The mismanagement of the squad since then has been absolutely incredible.

The biggest problem for Tottenham is the lack of leaders anywhere on the pitch Son has always gone missing when the going gets tough Maddison has always had patchy form Romero is frequently at fault for goals, including all 4 so far We can’t build a team around that

@Jakepeters84277 I think people misremember the Conte era quite a lot. In his last five league games we got 10 points and scored 10 goals. That’s despite Hojbjerg, Skipp, Davies, Dier, Lenglet and Forster having to start all of them. We never got to see a proper Conte team.

@EyadHan75184739 I think everyone can see this is getting steadily worse, not better. But for the second half against Villa we’ve been poor for about 3 months. I’m by no means saying we should sack Ange, but this is nowhere near good enough under any circumstances.

Questions need to be asked of Ange Postecoglou here, particularly his complete inability to change the game when he’s been sussed by the opposition. Yet again subs have been poor, and too late to make any meaningful difference. Absolutely awful stuff, as it was against Everton.
