Earlier today, General Secretary Dave Fawkes visited Zach Williams, who sadly suffered a horrific injury during the U15s final.
Zach’s had a successful operation on his knee, and is recovering well at home! We wish Zach all the best, and hope to see him back on the pitch soon.

Following yesterday’s WG announcement there is hope we can start Junior Leagues back on March 27th although we are awaiting clarification. In the meantime clubs are unable train until the clarification has been provided. We will provide further information on Monday ⚽️ 🙏

Today sees the start of a pilot in a Nations League Format with each team allowed 13 players Mynydd Isa Spartans v CPD Caerwys
Llangollen Town v Ruabon Rovers. Over three games the teams will need to use 16 players. Thank you to all teams taking part.

Every Wednesday night, our elite referee Richard Wright puts NEWFA referees through their paces down at Colliers Park.
Our weekly fitness sessions are held there 8-9pm every Wednesday. The session is free of charge and all referees are welcome!

A charity match, in memory of our good friend and colleague Ian Reece, will be played on Sunday 4th December.

On May 27th, Mold Alexandra Reserves faced off against FC Queens Park in the Horace Wynn Cup Final. 🏆
120 minutes of football saw neither side claim a winner, as the game finished 1-1. The tense shootout that followed saw Queens Park claim the trophy.

Connahs Quay Town take on Penyffordd in the NEWFL Premier Cup final, followed by Aston Park against Acton in the Two Counties cup final.

Our 55th AGM will be held on Wednesday 12th July, with attendance compulsory for all NEWFA associated clubs.
