Today, Commissioner @ahmedkaan21 welcomed @iom_somalia’s Chief of Mission @3mpereira & Deputy COM, @murima_p, to NCRI headquarters. They engaged in discussions about NCRI’s current priorities, focusing on the implementation of the Refugee Law & the finalization of the IDPs Law.

Today, NCRI Commissioner Mr. Ahmed Elmi visited the HQ of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency @Tika_Turkiye where he was warmly welcomed by Mr. Zafer Eski, TIKA's Program Coordinator. The meeting focused on discussions related to the issues facing refugees & IDPs.

(3/3) In his remarks, Commissioner Ahmed Hussen Elmi pledged to serve the nation by supporting displaced persons, refugees, and Somali returnees, reaffirming his commitment to NCRI’s mission of standing with those in need.

During its weekly meeting today, the Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia approved the appointment of Mr. Ahmed Hussein Elmi as the incoming Commissioner of the National Commission for Refugees and IDPs (NCRI).

Today, Commissioner @safiamseed welcomed Special Presidential Envoy on Migration @MariamYassinHY at the NCRI office. Discussions focused on scaling up coordination, assistance and solutions for returning Somali migrants.
