I don't consider myself in any way OCD but whenever I see Star Trek pictures like this, it ALWAYS winds me up. Print it the right way around dammit!
Please tell me that I am not alone in this?
Something that's been bothering me since I saw Picard 3:09 Vox. Was there a significance to the shapes of the Starfleet ship formations? They remind me of something. Maybe we'll find out in 310.

In the quiet moments towards the end of
#StarTrekPicard
's finale, Data mentions that he wept when he saw an ensign feeding his cat.
It is my belief that ensign was Elnor who finally has a cat of his own. You can't take that away from me.

CBS: Here's Discovery
Haters: I'd rather know what happened after Nemesis and this is too dark. I'll watch The Orville
CBS: Here's Picard
Haters: Still too dark.
CBS: Here's Lower Decks
Haters: Star Trek doesn't do comedy!
CBS: WHAT DO YOU WANT?
@donttrythis
Well said. Penn and Teller did the best argument in my opinion but then we live in a world where some people still believe the Earth is flat...
I would have loved a Mythbusters episode about that!
@katyfairman
@MBrundleF1
@TMZ
It looks like she was happy to chat but the bodyguards and Draco Malfoy didn't want any part of it. If you're on the grid, you're gonna be interviewed by media. Even Ben Stiller who had apparently said "no media" chatted to MB on the grid.
Saw Lee Mack's name trending. Why? Oh apparently he stood in for his mate on a fishing show and it seemed to upset people.
I actually really like Lee Mack, but not enough to watch a fishing show...
Tricky challenge anyone? What is your favourite TV show or movie that stars a Star Trek actor that ISN'T Star Trek?
Can you answer with anything that isn't Quantum Leap? ;)
Trying to decide whether to side with Jim Davidson or Piers Morgan is trying to decide whether you want to be poked in the eye or kicked in the nuts...
@thijsderk
In comparison, I went to the Italian Grand Prix, and even the Ferrari-mad Tifosi were so warm towards all teams and drivers, and all fans. Button retired from the race right in front of us and he got a huge respectful round of applause from the partisan crowd.
@thijsderk
The worst I saw at a Grand Prix was at Barcelona in 2010. Hamilton crashed out and the Spanish crowd started cheering like crazy! I was stunned. This was around the same time as fans turning up in black-face calling themselves Hamilton's family.
When Enterprise was prematurely cancelled in 2005, I didn't think we'd be in a position where we'd have so many new
@StarTrek
series in production. Discovery, Picard, Lower Decks, Strange New Worlds, Prodigy and maybe more. We're so lucky to be Star Trek fans right now!
So, hear me out, right? I want... I want just one line from Q in the next season of Picard saying something about the crew of the Cerritos, or even just Ensign Mariner.
Just to annoy all the people who don't see Lower Decks as canon.
I may not have the biggest collection of Star Trek reference books but here's mine. Am I missing anything important? I still want to get the Voyager Companion and maybe something about Discovery or any of the new shows.
I'm a fan of Harry Potter.
I'm no longer a fan of JK Rowling.
I'm a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel and Firefly.
I'm no longer a fan of Joss Whedon.
I like Michael Jackson music.
I don't like Michael Jackson.
Separating the art from the artist is possible but hard.
Hi everyone
We're five years into the new era of Star Trek and so far we've been given four seasons of Discovery, three seasons of Lower Decks, two seasons of Picard and one each of Prodigy and Strange New Worlds, as well as ten Short Treks!
(1/6)
Well I watched Star Trek Nemesis for the first time in years tonight. I enjoyed it a lot more this time around. Maybe Star Trek: Picard really has increased my appreciation for it.
Just come back from seeing What We Left Behind: A Star Trek Deep Space Nine Documentary
@DS9Doc
and loved it! That's a great labour of love for all involved with Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. If you haven't seen it, make sure you do!

To all American fans of

. I ask one thing tomorrow. The rest of the world doesn't get the season finale until Friday. I will be muting the hashtag but please please please.
DON'T SPOIL IT FOR US !!!
So we've been doing a Scrubs rewatch and I was amazed to see that Carla Espinoza is apparently an android creating with Fractal neuronic cloning. Who knew???

I think you said the design wasn't unique enough?
Are there any Star Trek episodes that you have changed your opinion of over time? For better or worse?
I've got two. Duet and The Inner Light. Hated them the first time I saw them. Really enjoyed them both on a recent rewatch.
Trek fans! Are you also interested in:
1) Other space-based sci-fi (Farscape, Red Dwarf, Killjoys, Stargate, etc)
2) Time travel (Doctor Who, Back to the Future, etc)
3) Superhero TV series/movies (Agents of SHIELD, MCU, Arrowverse, DCEU, etc)
@xMagicalMoonx
I'm in my 40s, I have seen every episode and my generation will eventually die out. We need new blood to come in to keep the fandom alive. New Star Trek episodes are good news for me and good news for the fandom. Welcome to the community. We're not all bad.
@Deep_Fried_Dave
@old5choolcool
@RexChapman
My favourite thing about these two clips is that the two actors are talking to Elmo and not the puppeteer! AND that Elmo is carrying on in character.
@ShelfNerds
That's David Keith Anderson. He had a lot of uncredited work on various incarnations of Trek. His TNG character was Armstrong, and his Voyager character was Ashmore - different characters. He was also a double in some scenes.
Started a rewatch of
#NotGoingOut
from the beginning this evening. If you've never seen this BBC comedy it's worth checking out but it's amazing how much the show changed from episode 1 to today. However I do wish Tim Vine was still in the show.
@AndrewLlewell14
@TimelessOwen
To be fair, a lot of the Dalek appearances were meant to be surprises but still didn't stop them calling the episode something like "The Plumbing System OF THE DALEKS!"
So many Star Trek videos on YouTube, and so many toxic fans out there with some really hateful channels and click-baity videos. Can anyone recommend any GOOD Star Trek YouTube channels with a sense of humour and are made by non-toxic fans?
I came to the

late on in its life. Recently I've started to get the games I had back in the day. I'm not very far into this collection, but are there any gems I might be overlooking? Feel free to name the obvious as well as the not-so-obvious.
Well done if you spotted Aidan Gallagher as Number Five from The Umbrella Academy.
Looks like they've been getting trickier so I'll give you an easy one today. Who's this?
@andfoxcroft
It's never said he wasn't serving on the Enterprise, I personally prefer to think he had another assignment on the ship in the first year and hadn't been given bridge duty yet. Either that, or he worked the 'night shift'.
@djmmarquis
@RochellaColony
I definitely remember TNG (and DS9) being hated when it came out. I know because initially I was unsure of it. It quickly proved me wrong when I watched it of course, but it had a lot of haters. They just weren't as vocal because social media wasn't a thing.
@StarTrekVHS
@Exiled_Timelord
OOOOoooorrrrr.... the remastered scene from 'Sacrifice of Angels' that appears in the 'What You Leave Behind' DS9 documentary.
Okay so you've got to do a Star Trek alien cosplay. Money and talent are no object and you've been given plenty of notice. You CAN'T do human.
What race do you cosplay as?
Taking a cue from

So 14 months later and Disco S4 is in production, Lower Decks S3 has just been announced. We've had a trailer for Picard season 2, and we've got Prodigy and Strange New Worlds on the horizon too. Remind me again, who's lying?
This Tweet has not aged well!
Fellow Trek fans and especially DS9 fans, did you watch Babylon 5 in the day? Which did you prefer? Did you watch them both like I did? Likewise TOS fans, did you watch Lost in Space too?
