@Orbital_Perigee Fair statement, they seem to be in the “save money at all cost” mood. So that’s why I’m gravitating to the statement. For all we know they’ll say double it and give it to the next person and we’ll have dual SLS launches 🤣

Canceling SLS won’t release that funding for other NASA resources it’ll just totally eliminate it. No increases anywhere else, just less money overall. I don’t think this is as positive some people may think. Especially pulling with work to be done on sustainable substitutes.
The primary contractor for the Space Launch System rocket, Boeing, is preparing for the possibility that NASA cancels the long-running program.

Crew Member 7 for New Shepard is the CapCom and person who trains and prepare the astronauts for flight. Since NG1 didn’t have astronauts, I’d like to believe the 7 is for all of us at Blue who trained and prepped New Glenn for her first flight 🚀
