Selon l'Institut Italien d'Études Politiques Internationales (ISPI), l’Iran souhaite renforcer ses liens avec l'Algérie et la Tunisie dans le but d'étendre sa présence diplomatique au Maghreb. Iran is expanding its diplomatic influence in the Maghreb by strengthening ties with Algeria and Tunisia, according to the Italian Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI). Amid ongoing tensions with Israel and setbacks in the Levant, Tehran appears to view North Africa as a strategic arena to bolster its presence. Read more from ISPI. Selon Courrier International, l'Algérie et les Etats-Unis ont renforcé leur coopération militaire en signant une memoranda d'entente. Ceci pourrait impliquer des échanges de renseignements et des exercices conjoints à l’avenir. Il est important de souligner que ce développement intervient dans le contexte d’une insécurité croissante dans le Sahel voisin, ainsi que des relations diplomatiques dégradées entre l'Algérie et la France.

According to Courrier International, Algeria and the United States have reinforced their military cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding. This is thought to include intelligence sharing as well as joint exercises in the near future. It is noteworthy that this development arrives at a time of insecurity in the neighboring Sahel region, as well as poor relations between Algeria and France.
