@TradetheMatrix1 It is hell easier to start by doing the side which works the most and observe everything , understand the data and gain experience from there to know what to do

@TradetheMatrix1 I think you statement never applies for beginners, the only way to tell if its hot to go long or weak to go short is by experience , its like saying to 24 year old in job interview , you need to have 10 years experience for that job at 24

@quantmindset Only way is to go through sec site fillings (as i remember in this case it was institutional fillings each quarter), i also searched for what you ask and there is none at the moment. Only way to have historical info if u manually collected it in real time in the past

@CorleoneOffer @BeachKulina @nieto @Jeppez420 Is that buy limit order for 1001 at 5.26 ? And also you take 1 more locate to put the stop in first place ? What happens when price just jumps 1$ above your buy order because of volatility and lack of fills ?

@quantmindset Wasnt the edge actually be too big for too long ? I mean using as simple strategies as short open print and put 40% stop and generate millions seems right ? The game might even get harder with time to the point stop slippage kills your profits.

@SmallCapSmarts One of the closely connected concept is the “variance” which is what is shown on graph. This very much teaches a lesson in systematic SC shorts that try to filter by other criteria just to learn that, of course it makes sense to filter some things though..

@SmallCapSmarts yeah this was my initial feeling but I haven't really cut back because the data + experience proved several times that after very bad periods there are always jumps back, i guess it's not a big issue either if ok with the risk , just easier to handle mentally , thanks

@SmallCapSmarts do you think you actually have to be in the market for quite a long time to actually understand this very well , I have the same feeling over the couple few months generally but my experience is not enough to make a move based on this feeling only because cannot back up with data
