I didnt realize how deep the LARP went for a long time and saw ppl I respected become completely irrational
I feel like LLMs also released at the point in time where there was the most rampant schizophrenic-like mental illnesses already, at the peak of the age of loneliness for a lot of online people. So the psychic damage was amplified 100x fold as they get a toy that sounds smart and can reinforce their ideas.
