My vote for Best of Show at Pebble Beach. Stunningly beautiful, technologically interesting and created in a period of our history which was filled with optimism. It’s a pity that it had next to no chance because it is a postwar car built in America.
I fell in love with a ‘93 Jaguar XJR-S a few years ago. Against everyone’s advice, I decided to use this complicated piece of machinery with many unique parts as my daily driver. Drove it 11,000 miles in 12 months and spent a total of $186 in repairs. Amazing car.
