@TheUfoJoe Grew up listening to hiphop (all musical genres really, have faves from every genre imaginable. Rap to classical. Hard Rock to 80s pop.) But most of today's rap sucks. And I found that halftime show crap. Kendrick is overrated imo, there's plenty of similar acts more appealing.

Studios underestimate nowadays the shared impact of sitting with a group during SB & everyone goin "oh I'm seein that!"

I hear ya, misuse def isn't a partisan thing, its largely career bureaucrats👍... But as far as Cheney specifically, I don't think that has anything to do with this. He was on the record talking about how dangerous it is to allow someone in power who only accepts elections if they get an outcome they approve of. It was his biggest issue & sees that behavior of being indicative of someone who doesn't respect the foundations of our republic. He sees him as a threat to democracy on basic levels, & has the same issues as George W. & Liz etc as well as many others. Now as much as I agree with Cheney about that specific issue, Cheney is shady in other ways & I'm the farthest thing from a fan, lol. In his own worldview though, - as someone who sees himself as a patriot & has seen what happens in other countries who get leaders who act like that, it makes sense he'd feel strongly there. Plus he's adept at covering his ass legally, hes not worried about anything coming at him PERSONALLY, tbh, it wouldn't even cross his mind. He's disgusted by Trump for acting like a child when he lost the election cuz he sees that behavior & recognizes it as dangerous. (People can agree or disagree on that, idgaf, lol, I'm just sayin what's been clear from not only his statements he made publicly, but from what Liz has said he's said behind closed doors etc etc..)
