@museumhour Q6: sometimes it’s about being in the right place at the right time, but you can also make your own luck by being proactive. And if you want someone’s job in the future - ask them for coffee/ask them to mentor you - 99% of the time they will be flattered & happily oblige

@museumhour A2. Volunteer⏩casual worker (learning/FoH, multiple sites)⏩learning assistant Volunteering gave me a love for the sector, but the casual roles I had allowed me to witness a range of learning practices. Working FoH was also valuable as I saw how visitors *actually* use museums!
