@IDoBadThings11B @wingstop @buzzcutdaisy 1) I have a History degree thus I'm not reading "fiction" books on this subject, 2) the Nazis didn't do shit 60 years ago in 1965, idiot, 3) religious symbols can exist for millennia, but you are ignoring the fact them being co-opted by Nazis corrupts the original intent.

@wayoye88 @wingstop @buzzcutdaisy So your argument that this arsehole's Nazi tattoo (which you do not concede is a Nazi tattoo) is irrelevant because, historically, communists are worse than Nazis, having previously tried to label all of the Ukranian as Nazis? And therefore by your logic, better than communists?

@qwvscrab @wayoye88 @wingstop @buzzcutdaisy I'm not saying anything of the sort as I have not chosen to engage with the wholly separate/irrelevant argument that the Ukranian army have something to do with an American retail worker's Nazi tattoo. Alain has sought to deflect from the original post by bringing up this trash.

@IDoBadThings11B @wingstop @buzzcutdaisy The Nazis co-opted A LOT of religious idolatry, but not everything. It isn't "someone, somewhere" deciding it's a hate symbol - it is a hate symbol because it is synonymous with Nazis by design of Nazis wanting it to be symbolic with them. Read a book.

The majority of your evidence notes that it has been co-opted and popularised by Nazis. The link at the top literally says "hate on display". It's not a good look.
