Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the Survivors of the Indian Residential School system and remember those who never made it home. Indigenous voices continue to guide us on our collective journey towards lasting reconciliation.
The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation is an important reminder of the terrible legacy of the residential school system and its impact on thousands of Indigenous children and families across Ontario.
It’s also a chance to learn from that legacy and recommit to true

Today, Premier Ford announced the latest step in our plan to tackle gridlock and help drivers in the GTHA get around faster. From Highway 401 to the Bradford Bypass and Highway 413, we’re building the highways and infrastructure our growing province needs.
As Ontario grows, drivers are counting on our government’s plan to build roads, highways and transit to fight gridlock and get them where they need to go.
