The Rebellion being tackled from a leftist perspective rather than a liberal one. Rather than "muh extremism" and "brown man bad" Andor shows full understanding that antifascism requires dirty hands. For every Nemik the Revolution also needs a Luthen, Andor understands that
IT'S TIME, FOLKS! Tell me your FAVORITE THING about Andor! I don't know how to pick, this show is so incredible...but I'll go with Narkina 5 and the prisoners' escape. So emotional and so beautifully scripted.
I'm honestly scared for this show because in The Phantom Menace they say, "The Sith have been extinct for a millennium" are we just gonna retcon lines in movies now too? I dont see a lot of good ways they could work around that
Rather than attempting to hit Baldur’s Gate 3’s lofty standards, Dragon Age: The Veilguard should instead be seeking to resurrect BioWare’s golden era, an era that produced the Mass Effect series and more.
OK but imagine Siege of Weisshaupt and we have to fight thru to the First Warden and when we reach the room they're in a pop up appears saying "Customize your Hero of Ferelden"
Honestly Dorian was being downright polite considering he went to Tevinter with it's flying buildings to Ferelden where they don't even paint buildings
George Lucas meant for Darth Talon to appear in his Sequel Trilogy, as the apprentice to Darth Maul, who at this time tried to take over after Sidious.
Would you like to see her appear in some of the new Star Wars content?
Good morning, I miss them. Also, I really hope we get to see Solas be at peace like this someday. He’s been through so much—He deserves freedom from all of it, a chance to finally find solace.

I love seeing Timm hate on tl imagine actually ratting someone out to fascist corporate cops cuz you're feeling jealous that's some extra grade straight chicanery
Revolution is dirty but necessary. Narkina 5 is a reminder why extremism in the face of oppression is no vice
I also love the way Andor understood and portrayed the self sacrifice of revolutionaries. Rebels also did but Andor's darker tone allowed it to really delve into it
Plucky heroes are great and have a role in the stories but ultimately the first cadres of Revolution are people like Cassian, Luthen and Cinta. Rebellions might be built on hope, but it's flames are lit by the hopeless
ya'll have no idea how delusional I am about her secretly being the Shadow Dragon leader like the thought of her building a new organization to erase her biggest mistake (the Venatori) is soooooo
ngl not a big fan of theories saying Neve is gonna be some kind of traitor - mostly because the "mage will betray you" thing rests on unfairly portraying Morrigan's actions (imo)
Surprised by the amount of people who watched Andor and didn't realize that the whole point is that the Empire is *weak*, it protects strength but that mirage falls apart at the slightest resistance. Cowardice is the MO
"Sequels made the OT heroes into failures"
AND THAT'S A GOOD THING. Failure is an inevitable part of life, we all have our lows especially in this day and age, sci fi as a genre has always been window into society. Showing that even the "best" have their lows is as it should be

Challenger YouTubers literally make a career by playing their games under the most difficult conditions conceivable so if your build only causes them to do "ok" your built is godawful
No offense to all the non male and queer Thrawn fans but the fact that Thrawn, a character who represents a much more male dominated times of Star Wars, is gonna get beaten by a female character, a stand in for women of marginalized identities, means the world to me

"His foil throughout Rebels was Hera," he tells Empire. "Pitting the two generals against one another is something that I find interesting."

The New Republic demilitarizing not only makes sense but is basically the only thing they could do considering the economic and political situation (plus unlike the Rebellion the New Republic cannot skimp on things like paying salaries)

While I don't think Mando is intentionally trying to say anything on the political front, and fair enough to it, inadvertently yeah that's how it ended up

broke: Mon Mothma founded the Rebel Alliance
joke: Luthen Rael founded the Rebel Alliance
woke: Avi Singh and Riyo Chuchi founded the Rebel Alliance
Fun fact Aunt Beru is actually trans and her inability to biologically conceive is why they she and Owen adopted Luke
This was one of the first concepts George Lucas had written down when coming up with ideas for what would become Star Wars
POSITIVITY CHECKPOINT!
what’s something you LOVE about star wars rebels?
CHALLENGE MODE: you can’t mention twilight of the apprentice or maul’s death
for me? I love the found family theme, the inspiration from the concept art, and the intro of thrawn
Andor rant time
These are same. They don't stand in opposition, it's the same message tailored through different context. Both are about transcending impossibility, but whereas Yoda knows Luke can objectively lift a fighter Nemik knows chances of overthrowing the Empire are slim
