Interestingly, I had a conversation about this with a friend just yesterday. Yoooo Some organizations that care about people and their work are going about this in innovative ways. They have cut salaries of everyone, including the higher ups, reduced workload ( e.g working 3 days instead of 5) and retained everyone but with less pay as per available resources. With this, you can tell people to volunteer “2 days” without pay There are innovative ways of going about this. This is when a department of efficiency would do us good.

If, decades after graduation, one still needs certificates to validate their education, they didn’t do quite as well as they should have—especially if they went all the way to earn the highest academic title, Professor.
