Interestingly, I had a conversation about this with a friend just yesterday. What you described is a result of consciousness, it’s why we are the only species capable of suffering more in our imagination than in reality. However, some people have overcome this flaw in our mental processes, particularly in Eastern civilizations. Last year, my spiritual books were from that tradition, and a key tenet they emphasize is training the mind to “see” things as they truly are. It’s part of the magic behind meditation.

Yoooo Some organizations that care about people and their work are going about this in innovative ways. They have cut salaries of everyone, including the higher ups, reduced workload ( e.g working 3 days instead of 5) and retained everyone but with less pay as per available resources. With this, you can tell people to volunteer “2 days” without pay There are innovative ways of going about this. This is when a department of efficiency would do us good.
@rkalyes1 @realDonaldTrump On that part of volunteering 🌚

@conradlubwama True The other people who were called out stayed silent and no one is focusing on them.

The agricultural revolution and all that followed started with the simple, shocking ideas that people could stay settled in one place, own land, select and cultivate crops. God created the universe with the earth at its center, the land with the castle at its center, and humanity with the Church at its center"-the organizing principle for the elaborate social and physical structures of Europe in the Middle Ages. "God and morality are outmoded ideas; people should be objective and scientific, should own and multiply the means of production, and should treat people and nature as instrumental inputs to production" —the organizing principles of the Industrial Revolution. What are the organizing principles of the Fourth industrial revolution?

Beyond what was captured in that introduction, one of the most fascinating books I read in my teens centered its hypothesis on the evolution of human language. Viewing life through that lens was a profound paradigm shift for me. I am currently working on a paper exploring the language used to describe AI processes. This is a crucial yet largely overlooked factor in how AI will shape our world.

If, decades after graduation, one still needs certificates to validate their education, they didn’t do quite as well as they should have—especially if they went all the way to earn the highest academic title, Professor. The true validation of one’s education comes from the work produced, the knowledge created, the students impacted (for a professor), the lives transformed, and the value added to society.
