Our education indicators of enrollment, retention, survival and completion rates are at aggregate level. They follow a cohort not the individual. This means that even if you follow the path you have suggested, you will come back to the same conclusion or worse
I see a big problem with this data. Whereas this conventional approach to computing percentages is allowable, calculating the percentage of male and female graduates in Ugandan universities as proportions of the total number of graduates in a given year provides a misleading picture of gender disparities in higher education. This method fails to account for the underlying differences in enrollment rates or the demographic composition of the population. Given that females constitute a larger proportion of Uganda's population, a higher absolute number of female graduands does not necessarily indicate greater educational achievement relative to males. A more accurate measure would involve calculating the proportion of female graduates relative to the total number of females who enrolled in university at the start of the course or within the same age cohort. Similarly, the proportion of male graduates should be assessed against the total number of males enrolled or in the same age group who had the opportunity to complete. I think this would provide a better understanding of gender parity in higher education and the structural inequalities that may still exist.

@AbahoB8 The SG’s position is informed by the tendency to rush for the top. I happened to analyze youth elective positions and over 1/3 of them are unopposed while there is a crowd pushing for parliament positions
