I've had two hybrids, two plug-in hybrids and a diesel truck on test so far this year, but here's the first full #EV for 2025: it's an @AudiUKPress #Q6 #etron 285kW #Launch #Edition, for £86,440 (!) as tested. Has 344mi of WLTP range in this specification. Colour: #Ascari #Blue.

@CustomCvd @VWUKPress @VWCV_UK_Media I get that. As ever with these pick-ups, even the 'luxe' ones have a degree of pragmatism built into them, or put another way they're linked to the base models with hose-down interiors etc, so yeah, there are areas of the Amarok cabin which are a little... CV. It is what it is.

You can see the @forduk tie-up with the #Ranger inside the Amarok, mainly in the infotainment screen, the gear shifter and the key (same as my #Mach1's item, almost), but plenty of VW content and the thing drives brilliantly for a big one-tonner. Gonna be a good week! 👍 2/2

@JDSpeakman @mazdaukpr I suppose, yeah, if you find the CX-60 dull, a stretched version isn't going to win you over. Mazda can, and has, make/made far prettier cars than this, but as big SUVs go, I think the CX-80 looks fine. Large back doors notwithstanding...

@robinson_s7408 @mazdaukpr Yes, the Takumi models have very sumptuous cabins... 👍

@CrackedRearView @mazdaukpr Well, the SQ5 was always set out to be a performance SUV, hence its high output. But I get 254hp from 3.3 litres, is - shall we say - unstressed? Lovely powertrain in operation, though. And other manufacturers have backed away from big-hearted diesels, too.

@willoto2000 @mazdaukpr It is a lovely thing. Of the seven-seat SUVs, it's among the better ones, no doubt. Especially with that silky diesel engine. 👍

Yes, you get mats for your money, before anyone asks... 🙄 but someone has been in this car prior to me with muddy shoes, so I removed the driver's mat pre-pics. This 3.3d is a seven-seat model. Boot rated at 258 litres minimum. Two ISOFIX points only (in row 2). Space OK. 2/2

@Tedisiek Space OK but more of a 5+2 - best suited for kids in row three. Didn't specifically check ISOFIX but am driving a diesel later so will look then and report back.

Driving the new @mazdaukpr #CX80 seven-seat SUV today, in both #PHEV and inline-six diesel formats - all out of @TheMotoristHub near Leeds. Also hope to get a go in the 2025MY #CX60, also with the I6 diesel. 👍

@dailycarblog @VWUKPress Oh no, wouldn't say that. Not massively exciting, but comfy and refined. Lots of space. Decent.

@biomulv @VWUKPress Erm... just the temperature sliders beneath the screen. Which are at least backlit these days...
