@nucksiceman @Canuck4LyfeSon For the 4N F-O? No, they cannot recalls any player. Their team is their team. If they drop below 12F/6D/2G, the NHL could allow a recall.

@Freddy38 No, he is serious.
That save by Filip Gustavsson was awesome. The way he caught that left edge and exploded back across was unreal. Full blocker extension! This game has been fun.

@HidekiNishida2 @MouserGuru @tpirkl @RussoHockey Yes. It would only hurt the team to place them on LTI. Utah would lose the entirety of their cap space by placing Weber on LTI. They would lose 18.3M of usable cap space today and 28.4M of usable cap space at the deadline. So Weber will spent the entire year on IR

@woumaxx @FowleBall15 Don’t forget the usual "Every year, I name a few players from the top 10 that I like. One of those players became a star. Therefore, I was right, NHL teams were wrong"

@MouserGuru @HidekiNishida2 @tpirkl @RussoHockey That’s correct. If they needed players to reach the floor, these players were never placed on LTI. The only exception was Bolland & Pronger in 16-17 and Hossa on LTI in 2019-20. Arizona spent the entire year over the cap in those two seasons.

@PuckPedia @TheNLKing @stefen_rosner No problem! He was a roster freeze player, so he only needed 34 games to accrue a season. He was on the NHL roster for the entire season, so he got an accrued season no matter what. I was pretty sure these cases required a manual update.

@TheNLKing @stefen_rosner @PuckPedia PuckPedia most likely have 27 years old as their default settings to display when a player will be Group 3 UFA. This is the case for every player except if they played in the NHL as teenagers and were able to get 1 or 2 accrued season.

@TheNLKing @stefen_rosner @PuckPedia Yes, there’s 1 year left. A player need 7 accrued season to be Group 3 UFA and he has 6 accrued season (including this season). He will be eligible to Group 3 UFA when he will earn his 7th accrued season next season.

@fotowestcoast @N0NucksGiven @5223356ida To determine the compensation, the maximum numbers of years is 5 years. If you offer a 63M contract, it will be divided by 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 or 5, depending on the number of years of the contract. A 6 or 7 years contract is divided by 5. 63M / 5 =12,6M 4 1st round picks.

@fotowestcoast @N0NucksGiven @5223356ida The CBA is extremely clear. To calculate the compensation in an offer sheet, the AAV cannot be divided by more than 5 years. A 9M x 7 is 63M total. This 63M total is divided by 5 years so 12.6M. It’s 4 1st round picks.
