I’m literally finishing up an auto-ethnography on the hyper-sexualization of Black women in the workplace because of these exact scenarios! I mean damn, as Black women we’re crucified for everything. Why are our bodies deemed as such distractions? Just let this woman teach.

This woman literally just spoke about my life. As an adult, I chose to have a relationship with my mother, but it was WORK on my behalf to forgive her. Parents, let’s do better so your child doesn’t have to pray to be able to forgive you literally.
Once your kids no longer depend on you for food and survival you are left with the relationship that you cultivated. Or lack thereof.

It’s usually illegal in cities for people to ride bikes on the sidewalks. While they should fix sidewalks, bike lanes should be increased as well as a better public transportation system. We could cut down greenhouse gas emissions with the addition of a train system + more buses.

Life is literally about constantly evolving.
I grew up in a negative household where people complained a lot + had so much trauma from their past they never dealt with so it informed who they were.
