We began our new science topic on 'Rocks' by observing different types of rocks and talking about similarities and differences between them. @TeamManorGreen @FocusTrust1

Team Quartz built on their understanding of 3-digit numbers and learnt that they can be partitioned in different ways. They used base 10 equipment and part-whole models to represent 3-digit numbers. @TeamManorGreen @FocusTrust1

This week we welcomed PCSO’s Christine and Louie for #aspirationsweek24. They talked to us about safety in the community and being safe online. They explained why they did their job and why they enjoyed it. @TeamManorGreen @FocusTrust1

What a great #aspirationsweek24. Today we welcomed Green Watch to discuss fire safety and the role of a firefighter. We got to explore the engine, wear the uniform and have a go at squirting the hose. Some fabulous firefighters in the making! @TeamManorGreen @FocusTrust1

As part of #7mustsofFocusTrust Year 2 organised a wear the colours of the OKE logo for the charity OKE @OurKidsEyes. This is a local charity who help Tameside children and their families if they are in need of support. We raised an amazing £206.31 @TeamManorGreen @FocusTrust1
