This doesn't consistently raise MO teacher salaries. It isn't a definite change. This is a ONE-YEAR GRANT schools must APPLY for, then fund 30% of the grant funding themselves. #TeachPriority1

THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE for a multitude of reasons. #TeachPrioirity1 A grant??? What if a district applies and gets denied? What if a district can't afford their 30% portion?
Lots of attention paid to new Missouri budget where @MOEducation teacher minimum salary going up from $25,000 to $38,000. No attention paid to fact that state funds only cover 70% of the salary cost. Where is the rest of the $$$ coming from? Why was this % included? @MASALeaders
