Some lovely views from our evening walk! Quite the climb up the hill through the trenches. Waterfalls to soak our hair in 🙆♀️We are all showered and off to bed 🛌 🤞 for a quick turn down as we need lots of energy for tomorrow!
Thanks for a wonderful week P7! I'm sure all of us will be catching up on some much needed sleep this weekend. Enjoy sharing the stories with your families and I will see you all again on Monday!
Each Tuesday we have Dr Al-Azzawi in from Liberton High School to help develop our reading and writing skills. Dr Al-Azzawi is supporting transition between primary and high schools and will begin to be a familiar face over the next couple of years!
Camp first!
6.30am wake up call from one room that claimed they had a lizard in their room!
One newt in a croc release mission later, and we are all back in bed 😂 Well the staff are having coffee! ☕️
Primary 4, I am so proud of each and every one of you. You have all worked so hard and conquered the many challenges 20/21 has thrown at us. It has truly been a pleasure to teach such a lovely class! Enjoy your summer and I will see you soon 😊

So far we have met our instructors, been assigned our kit, set up our dorms
, unpacked, explored the grounds and enjoyed 5pm juice and cake! We are just about to enjoy a bit of free time before our dinner and evening night walk!
This afternoon we looked at the Northern Lights. We learnt about Viking beliefs about the Northern Lights and even created our own Northern Light scenes 🌌
This afternoon we were busy creating some "Seasons Tweetings" cards to enter into the Christmas card competition. We used our fingers to print the birds in different sizes. We even had a practice card that we are going to save 👍🖌🎨
Well done for all your hard work this term P4 👏 You have been super stars online and in person 🖥 Enjoy your holidays, have as many adventures as you can, take time to rest and stay safe.
Have a lovely Easter 🐣
We were politely awoken by a 6.30am alarm! However this one was not on our phone and was a little bit louder! All turned out to be a false alarm and after a quick wait in the cold we are back inside!

We all enjoyed creating some 3D snowmen this afternoon! We worked hard using our fine motor skills to fold all the pieces of paper and developed our scissor skills!
Have you seen the latest articles in the Prestonfield Press ?! Primary 4 have become fantastic journalist's reporting on the story of the stranded desert island! 🏝
Everyone worked hard to explain thr 5W questions. Where, who, when, what and why ?
All wrapped up exploring Duddingston today! The frost made some good discussion about freezing temperatures.
We created trails using sticks to lead groups around.
This term we have started to look at poetry. Today we started to plan a poem about our school playground. We planned outside to help gather ideas on parts of the playground we wanted to include in our poem and adjectives to describe them 🖋✍
Continuing to practice our measuring skills in the garden 📏 We tried to find lots of items that were 1m, 55cm and 1cm.
Can you remember what you measured ?
Some of us were making some rock face emotions with Mrs Shafiq this week. Look how amazing they are!
We have all been working hard to discuss our emotions and learning new emotion words to help explore our feelings 😊
