Isolation tactics, minimizing (valid) concerns, fully controlling ability to leave (passports, ID, etc), cut off finances, refusing mental healthcare, threatening to drop protection despite acknowledging known risks...this is abusive behavior. #OprahMeghanHarry

@BethMooreLPM it’s not only “fresh concrete” it’s spiritual abuse neatly placed under the guise of “dividing the church” messages. It’s wolves in shepherds clothing.
I deeply believe Christ calls us to unity & I so want it. But calls to unity without serious regard for what broke us to pieces is like pouring fresh concrete over a collapsed bridge. Someone recently tweeted me this page out of Chasing Vines. These aren’t answers. Just thoughts.
