A student brought in this relic today…a Broward County Ballot Box from 2002! Perfect timing as we’ve been diving into political parties, elections, and voting procedures all week. We also took a closer look at the hanging chad ballots used in the Bush v. Gore election!

An amazing trip to @morikamimuseum! Our 7th graders explored the local heritage and cultural impact of Japanese immigration in our community. They also took time to contemplate the experiences of those who endured internment during WWII by appreciating firsthand painted diaries.
