Is this like a special championship they created on their own? They are not close at all
Cowboys QB Dak Prescott said he believes Dallas is “very close” to its own championship. Story via @toddarcher:

@ChiefsfanCHI23 @1_ChiefsKingdom Agree with that for sure, this entire season is hard for me to gauge given what happened with Brown/Rice. It completely neutered what this offense wanted to be. Then you have to ask guys who are WR3/4 and a Rooke to do things they never practiced

@ChiefsfanCHI23 @1_ChiefsKingdom Good question, is that scheme or routes I'm not sure? Definitely felt like Brown at times was not where he needed to be at times but that's me guessing. Worthy improved significantly as the year went on

@1_ChiefsKingdom What? You are now suggesting to be a successful WR coach you need to turn everyone into a stud? Give the guy his credit just like you tore him down when they were all struggling for most of 23... What case are you resting? The rest of the WR core are old Wr3+ that not his fault.

@ChiefsfanCHI23 Based on what Creed said about their defense they absolutely thought they could handle their rush without a problem. By they I mean the staff not players

@1_ChiefsKingdom So when everyone said Rice was no good then it turned around & he finished strong season 1 it was just on him & not the coach? I find it hilarious that you give zero credit to the WR coach when players are good but he takes all the blame when they are bad or drop balls?

@SullyFootball Screw that guy...I was convinced that Croyle was going to do something. I do not think he ever won a game

@RealMNchiefsfan As soon as that happened, any hope was lost. That was a potential spark getting points going into the half. Still unlikely but some hope

@GodLovesChiefs I do not think age is a factor, but I do think a fresh mind in the offensive staff room would certainly help bring some other ideas to the table.

@Conner_DKC I think that is the most likely situation, so unless they find a way to keep Trey the G situation is not great.

@InHarmsWay19 He wasn't that bad in the SB though was he? Mike of course was brutal and Trey had one of the worst games I have ever seen from him.

@KSmith_Center Yeah like 65+ yards in the air perfectly. Pat is fine, the offensive struggles were largely because of Rice/Brown being hurt. Worthy forced into an expanded roll and took time to sync up, he got better every week

@AndrewSpruill_ This is the reality, once Pat saw pressure consistently the trust was gone. You cannot watch the all22 & pick the few times he had options. Sure he could have been better but to me this was a trash gameplan and well below average OL play in addition to the Eagles playing amazing

@YungChiefsLord If they feel Kingsley or Morris can play G I think that is likely what happens, tag and trade Trey.

@PRSguitarGodN8 @RasheeTouchdown Kelce stays and they likely do an extension to move some of the money out. Almost zero chance he plays on that 20m cap number. Thuney/Pat/Kelce could easily open up 50m alone without getting crazy if they want.
