@MissAHadley ECT Year 1 here. Find a school with supportive SLT. It's quite the leap from PGCE to ECT in terms of responsibility so having management there who support you along the journey is important. Bonus points if they're open and celebrate your successes.

Finally got around to finishing my little project. I've now got ChatGPT and Speech Recognition running from a 2nd hand Raspberry Pi and a cheap USB microphone. It's my own Alexa with double the capabilities at half the cost 😎 #raspberrypi
