@Boe12986 @cathynewman @Channel4News @clairesinka Can’t really argue with that. My knowledge of the legal system is thankfully slim….would the English courts prosecute & potentially convict posthumously? I‘d seriously like to hear solutions that (in this case) give the victims a voice or a level of closure.

@BBCNewsNI I left NI for Eng in the 80s to be a teacher. I hoped to come back for work, never did. Glad I didn’t. Salaries weren’t the same for doing the same job. If that’s still the deal I’d love to know why? Why the difference? Why are they not treated the same as teachers this side?

@Boe12986 @cathynewman @Channel4News @clairesinka It could be argued that some people play the ‘innocent until proven guilty’ card to their advantage. Their use of power & position makes them think they’re untouchable, that they’ll be believed over a 17y/o girl. Also, sadly there are court cases where innocent until..has failed

But if we're working a 40 hr week & can't afford to feed our kids...well, surely our lovely bosses, those millionaires could pay better. Do they need all the houses, cars, gold toilets? I bet there's enough for everyone in the hands of too few.
