Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Nick & Wayne from @CuckmereB in #Berwick #EastSussex. We did an accessibility audit on their new minibus and will be returning shortly to provide a vision impairment awareness session to their volunteer drivers. @SLCouncils

Just attended the #ArunValley @communityrail Network meeting at Gatwick Airport, representing #WestSussex @SLCouncils. We got to see and hear about the Gatwick Historic Timeline Exhibition by The Redhill Reigate Society. Really interesting!

Disappointed with @compassbus tonight. Bus no. 32 drove straight past whilst waiting at my bus stop. #Blind and #PartiallySighted people struggle to see a bus coming to flag them down. @SLCouncils are campaigning for request stops to be banned so buses stop if anyone’s waiting.

It was a small social gathering with the WestSussex @SLCouncils volunteers this evening in #Worthing. We chatted about our first half year and plans for 2024 as well as sharing funny stories about our vision impairments. 👨🦯🎄🎅
