Outside Learning this morning brought a visitor out to play. A young hedgehog came and joined us. We directed him to a habitat pile and left him to find a suitable nesting spot.The children decided to make their own habitat piles to encourage other animals to make MAS their home.

What an amazing afternoon! Our school football team finished RUNNERS UP in the Morpeth Coronation Cup. We narrowly lost the final on penalties. The players were amazing and have made us all so proud. We were the only school team playing against very strong club sides 😊👍🏼🏅⚽️
Over the summer holiday, we've been improving our school for your children. We have painted all our classrooms and corridors. We also have a new suspended ceiling and beautiful LED lights in the corridors!
It looks even better with the children's coats hung up!
Unfortunately, due to the great British weather, our final sports day events will be postponed to next week in the hope that the weather improves. However, the ice-cream van is still on its way! 🌧️😞🍨😀

An amazing performance at the Northern Zonal Schools Trampolining Competition for one of our Year 4s. She even had a her own personal cheerleader 💪 Well done, a superstar in the making 🌟
Key Stage 2 had a fabulous trip to the Gurdwara Singh Sabah today. The children thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Sikh faith and they loved their curry lunch; many going back for seconds,if not thirds.
We would like to extend a HUGE thank you to our families for their patience, understanding and for following our new systems and procedures. It was WONDERFUL having our fantastic MAS children back in school! See you tomorrow...
