@cooperownbey @bestofnextdoor What we called it, and I recommend it. Our first year we rented a beautiful place in great location that stretched our budget. Bit the bullet and loved every second of it. After we moved out of state, purchased a home, and reduced our living expenses by almost half.

@GenreFilmAddict Brad Allen (RIP) the action designer was the architect of that scene and the influence of much of the modern action in cinema. He also brought the “Parkour fighting” Style to Kick Ass, along with many other things. A giant in our land.

She flung herself in the air, rotated on both axises, and stuck the landing, meaning she landed precisely where she needed to with perfect balance. GOAT.

Lots of techniques in stunts are simple to execute, complicated by the scenario. distance from the window needed to launch, timing up with SFX and camera, performing it as a fall and not a flip (don’t point those toes!). @MovieKessler Pro stuntman, I’d humbly disagree with it being simple! We usually do falls in cuts to isolate the fall and almost never have another actor add a push. This was top notch stuff. Hit his Mark, co-star didn’t kick too hard or lose his character. Super impressive!
